Wait For Love

Don't excite love, don't stir it up until the time is ripe. Song of Solomon 8:4, 3:5, 8:4

This message is referenced three times in the Song of Solomon. The repetition displays an importance.  If you are looking or waiting on someone to find you, be constant and steady in patience. God has a special someone for you! You don't have to go looking and hunting for them. God has already predestined you expected meeting date and time. As you wait, do just that, wait on God. Wait on God. Serve God. Give your time. Learn a new hobby and enjoy. Get to know God deeper, more intimately.

Don't accept everyone that tries to entire your life. Be aware of labeling people "the one". Secondly, beware of labeling someone "the one" without consulting God first. Even after consulting God, pray it out. Our desires can sometimes we heard has God's instructions!

Let me encourage you...
When I met my husband, I didn't go looking for him. In fact, I wasn't looking at all. I didn't put myself in a place I wouldn't normally go. I didn't try to be something I wasn't. I was simple me...then one night, my husband (didn't know it at the time) walks into my life at a Chili's restaurant.

God knows your address and he knows how to lead your spouse straight to you. When you are ready, your spouse will entire your life. He or she will not enter anytime sooner than God prepared. As you wait, stay focused on God. When you wallow in self-pity and loneliness, you delay the process. Keep your heart right! Stay alert! Don't let envy and jealousy enter your heart. Those characteristics sends creates on a detour which in turn takes your special someone longer to reach you!

Make a list of your expectations in a spouse. Don't lower your standards. God will give you all that you desire, plus some more. Your spouse will be yours and you will be his, forever, when God puts you together.

Single man, woman, God wants you to know, you are beautiful from head to toe. You are his dear love, beautiful beyond compare, absolutely flawless (Song of Solomon 4:7 MSG). Be comfortable in your own skin. Be who God created you to be. Be whole, only then will an addition be added to your life.

Don't excite love, don't stir it up until the time is ripe.
Wait.

No Fear!

There is no fear in love. But perfect love cast out fear. For fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. Fear is the absence of the awareness that God is love. When I am fearful, I don't let it linger. I immediately cast that emotion down.

God is love and in his love, there is no fear. I will not fear bad things happening to me. I will not have a fear of lack. God supplies all my need. Phillipians 4:19. I will not fear being alone. God is always with me. I will not fear bad things about my family. Me and my house will serve The Lord. Joshua 24:15. I will not fear being bound. There is freedom and liberty in Jesus. 2 Corinthians 3:17

When fear comes knocking, you know whose at work; the enemy. Fear makes us stagnant. Fear stops us from doing what God told us to. Fear keeps us from growing. Fear is a dream killer. Fear comes with torment. God is a love. 1 John 4:8

Fellowship

Surround yourself  with only people that add value to your life. When you hang with other believers you are sharpened as it says in Proverbs 27:17, iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.  Jesus valued fellowship. He was constantly around like-minded believers.

When you invite people into your lives that are negative, dishonest, worrisome, they devalue your being and your time. Take an inventory of yourself fellowship:
1. Do the people closest to you speak the word?
2. Are the ones you hang with the most headed in the same direction as you are traveling?
3. Do you need to cut ties with anyone?
4. Is there anyone  holding you back, mentally, spiritually, socially?
5. Are you being sharpened by your circle of friends?

Jesus fellowshiped with others that were heading in the same direction as he. Are you doing the same?

Unlimited Love

There is no limit to God's love.

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, one things present nor things to come, nor height or depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38, 39

There is no sin greater than God's love. No matter what you've done, repent, TURN AND DO NOT REPEAT,  and God will forgive you.

Isn't it amazing how Jesus used sinners to do great things. Jesus changes sinners into great and powerful people to do his will.

King David committed sins of adultery and murder. God forgave him. God used him mightily.

Apostle Paul murdered and treated Christians harshly. Jesus met him on the road of Damascas and change his name.

Peter denied Jesus three times. How often do we deny Jesus? His word? His instructions? Peter's life was turn around!

A prostitute named Rahab had great faith after meeting Jesus!

The Prodigal Son turned his back on his family and left home.

Because of God's love, he was gladly and openly accepted by his family when he realized who he was!

Be persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, one things present nor things to come, nor height or depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38, 39

Walk in Love

Walk in love. Ephesians 5:2

Family is important to God, therefore to Jesus and therefore, it should be important to us. Walking in love can be the biggest obstacles with family members. But, does it have to? Think about it, if we made a conscious effort to walk in love, there would be less argument, selfishness, and to sum it all up, works of the flesh. Sometimes, working with people can be a task but God commands us to WALK IN LOVE...

Walking in love requires discipline with only God can provide. Be kind to one another. Forgive others. Are you waiting on an apology from someone you feel you deserve. Don't let their lack of maturity stump your growth.

Jesus walked in love daily. He walked in love when they arrested him in the garden. He walked in love when they pulled out his hair. When they spit in his face, he walked in love. People mocked him, called him names, laughed at him; yet, he walked in love.

Judas, one of twelve chosen by Jesus, betrayed him with a kiss. That didn't stop Jesus from walking in love. Walk in love with the family members that rub you the wrong way. Be kind to the people that talk about you. The ones that betray, love them. Do something nice for them. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the LORD will reward you. Proverbs 25:22
