Unlimited Love

There is no limit to God's love.

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, one things present nor things to come, nor height or depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38, 39

There is no sin greater than God's love. No matter what you've done, repent, TURN AND DO NOT REPEAT,  and God will forgive you.

Isn't it amazing how Jesus used sinners to do great things. Jesus changes sinners into great and powerful people to do his will.

King David committed sins of adultery and murder. God forgave him. God used him mightily.

Apostle Paul murdered and treated Christians harshly. Jesus met him on the road of Damascas and change his name.

Peter denied Jesus three times. How often do we deny Jesus? His word? His instructions? Peter's life was turn around!

A prostitute named Rahab had great faith after meeting Jesus!

The Prodigal Son turned his back on his family and left home.

Because of God's love, he was gladly and openly accepted by his family when he realized who he was!

Be persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, one things present nor things to come, nor height or depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38, 39

Walk in Love

Walk in love. Ephesians 5:2

Family is important to God, therefore to Jesus and therefore, it should be important to us. Walking in love can be the biggest obstacles with family members. But, does it have to? Think about it, if we made a conscious effort to walk in love, there would be less argument, selfishness, and to sum it all up, works of the flesh. Sometimes, working with people can be a task but God commands us to WALK IN LOVE...

Walking in love requires discipline with only God can provide. Be kind to one another. Forgive others. Are you waiting on an apology from someone you feel you deserve. Don't let their lack of maturity stump your growth.

Jesus walked in love daily. He walked in love when they arrested him in the garden. He walked in love when they pulled out his hair. When they spit in his face, he walked in love. People mocked him, called him names, laughed at him; yet, he walked in love.

Judas, one of twelve chosen by Jesus, betrayed him with a kiss. That didn't stop Jesus from walking in love. Walk in love with the family members that rub you the wrong way. Be kind to the people that talk about you. The ones that betray, love them. Do something nice for them. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the LORD will reward you. Proverbs 25:22

Trust God's Timing

Trust God's Timing
There's an opportune time to do things, a right time for everything on the earth:
A right time for brith and another for death,
A right time to plant and another to reap,
A right time to kill and another to heal,
A right time to destroy and another to construct,
A right time to cry and another to laugh,
A right time to lament and another to cheer,
A right time to make love and another to abstain,
A right time to embrace and another to part,
A right time to teach and another to count your losses,
A right time to hold on and another to let go,
A right time to rip out and another to mend,
A right time to shut u and another to speak up,
A right time to love and another to hate,
A right time  to wage ward and another to make peace.
Ecclesiastes 3: 2 - 8 MSG

When we do things before there time. We only delay the process. Waiting is part of the learning.
When we try to get things done before God's timing, things don't work out. When we rush God's timing, we become distracted, discontent, and disengaged with focusing on God. Trust God's timing in whatever you are going through. Ultimately, totally, completely, God knows best!

Be Of Good Cheer

Be of good cheer!

Peace is my assurance of God's presence in any and every situation. Although some days, to keep peace can be a battle, it is a great necessity. Peace is found in Jesus. The world has a form of peace but it isn't genuine. Only God-given peace carries us through.

Isn't it interesting, in John 16:33, Jesus said, "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." He prefaced this statement by telling us we have peace in him. This is most important! Then he added, in this world, you will have trouble, but be of good cheer. But is a conjunction so what matters are the words that come behind it..So, reviewing that grammar mini lesson, let's read the text again:

"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." When things don't happen like we should, be of good cheer! When someone rubs us the wrong way, be of good cheer! When school isn't going the way you should, be of good cheer! When you are waiting on the mate God has for you,  be of good cheer! If you lost your job, be of good cheer! You lost someone you love, be of good cheer!

So, I know you maybe thinking, what? How on earth can I be of good cheer when thing around me seem to dwindle. Isn't it great how God's thoughts are nothing like our thoughts and his ways are fair beyond anything we can imagine.  Isa. 55:8. Let's stop putting God on the same level as we are. He's higher. God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise. God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 1 Cor. 1:27.

It's time to take God for his word. If he tells us to be of good cheer, that's what we should do. He's never lost a battle. He's never failed. He's going to repay you what you lost. Since you've been waiting, continue, it'll be worth the wait. God repays big!

Be of good cheer!

Be Still

Rest in knowing God is God. He has things worked out already. He is working on your behalf.
When we are still, we can hear God's voice. God reassures his love for us when we are still. We are able to open up to God and tell him anything. The great thing about God is, he reads our thoughts before I know them.

When we meditate on who God is, everything we thought was a concern becomes minute, less than a minus. We are straightened when we know that he God. God is able to do immeasurable more than we can ask or think.

When we are still and know that he is God, we are aware of our kingdom rights. We stop accepting things that don't line up with God' will. God's will is his word. But, if we don't spend time in the word, we want know all that we have access to.

Tune out the voices of the world. Stop seeing counsel from the friends around you. Listen to God. Who else better knows us best? Only God knows us from the inside, out. Only God knows what's to come. Only God knows what's best for us independently, and corporately. God wants to pour out and bless you more than you know.

Give God a chance. You want be sorry. Your life will never be the same as a result of getting to know Jesus.

Be still.

Love First

We love because he first loved us.
1 John 4:19

Accept the unaccepted. Love the unlovable. Want the unwanted. Be a voice for the voiceless. Isn't that what Christ calls us to do? Isn't that how he spent his time here on earth? Where would we be without the love of Jesus. One of my favorite quotes written by yours truly is, "Like a bag hanging in a tree, so was I until He rescued me." Without Jesus, I am nothing. The simple task of raising my hand couldn't be carried out without the strength of God, forced by his love for me.

Love is found in a new born's cry or a look in a mother's eyes. Love is a gentle push from those that believe in you. Love is putting others first. It is giving more than getting. Love is the ability to see beyond  a person and view their heart. Love allows you to see the good in others.

We love because he first loved us. When the wind blows, God reminds me he's there. When I see a rainbow, I'm reminded of a promise that God can't break! To receive hugs and kisses from the ones I love is a gift from God. When he corrects, that's love. Everything God does in an act of love.

Love First
